The post of the Building’s Caretaker for a complex in Bellair is open to applicants.
To make sure the complex is kept up-to-date by making sure the three general assistants/workers are properly managed and the work/task schedules are completed on time and successfully.
These tasks will be part of your duties
Plan and manage the staff’s schedules and tasks.
Maintain daily control over the complex’s maintenance.
Do a weekly walkabout to identify any maintenance or repairs that are required.
Control the schedules and processes for maintenance.
oversees the timely and accurate completion of maintenance and repair work.
train and oversee maintenance personnel
Manage employee reprimands as necessary.
Analyze the complex’s current projects and upcoming work.
Physical fitness required to carry out repairs
overseeing contractors for significant repairs and doing site visits.
monitoring of cleaning supplies and equipment
Skills and capabilities needed
good communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
Customer service expertise for cordial interactions with locals
strong building skills, particularly in the areas of plumbing, electricity, and general maintenance.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
the capacity to recognize problems and decide which fixes are necessary
the capacity to work independently
the capacity to arrange building system maintenance.
Great leadership and management abilities.
capable of using Microsoft Office. (In particular, Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Knowledge and Experience
Plumbing, electrical work, or maintenance require a matriculation plus an equivalent qualification.
a current drivers license
Requires two to three years of maintenance experience.
