An opening exists at Dis-Chem Pharmacies for a Dispensary Support Learner to join the group. The primary goal of this is to hire students who can successfully complete the learner basic pharmacy assistant course.

This course encourages the idea of high-quality on-the-job learning by enabling students to comprehend the fundamental concepts underpinning all of the key areas connected to the pharmaceutical environment and dispensing.

Roles and responsibilities

help with patient service phone calls and contact center scripts.
People should be informed in order to enhance their health.
help with chronic, HIV/AIDS, and oncology medicine plan authorization.

Inform the dispensary manager of any low or out-of-stock levels and stock mistakes.
In accordance with the company’s SOP, receive dispensary stock.
the distribution of drugs or other substances listed under Schedule 1.
aid with the unpacking, merchandising, and cleaning of the dispensary and OTC shelves under the direction of the competent pharmacist.

whatever additional tasks that the dispensary manager assigns to them.
Make sure that the medication is picked, packed, labeled, and checked accurately. You should also be aware of standard doses and significant drug interactions.
Make sure a pharmacist reviews and signs all prescriptions to ensure their correctness.

Follow up with patients about script tracking report and appointments as asked by the dispensary manager

Requirements

At least a 50% GPA in arithmetic and one of the physical sciences or the life sciences in grade 12 is required.
